Welcome to my Videography Education!
This page will be dedicated to the Videography that I did in College. You will be able to find the end results of projects such as short films, TV advertising, music videos and more. The work you are about to watch is 2 years of college projects in order.
I am just going to show the end results on this page if you would like to view everything that went on behind the scenes and preproduction work, you can view it on my college website, link found in Videography.

Own Mental health add
As a class we did an advert on world mental health day. We as a class did the pre-production and filmed around the college together, then all made separate edits ourselves using the footage we shot.

As a class we did a test edit with a green screen, this was just the beginning of our course, therefore we all did projects together, later we split off doing projects separately or with someone in the class we became friends with.
Final product
This was my first solo project that I did about plastic pollution. Compared to my later work, my preproduction, production and post-production was not as good as work yet to come.

This was a mandatory lighting test edit, that me and the other 3 girls in my class had to do for the course. This was not the lighting we used in our own music video.

This is Cortney's because mine ended up not exporting.
My edit was really good, however at this point in my course, premier pro was not exporting any of my projects, so I had to use Courtney's, who was one of the people in my group. Eventually premier pro managed to export all my projects with no issues. The only reason it is on here is because I did do the work to go into this and to prove I know how to make an audio book.

After the audio course our group of 4 split into 2, because most of the idea's me and Emily came up with and our teacher would automatically put us together because we were the only 4 girls in the class.

FMP meaning final major project could be of anything relating to film or photography. Emily and I decided to do our FMP together and do a short film. After bouncing around a lot of ideas we came to the very good idea of a 1950's girl obsessed with a better future, she reads a book that takes her to the future, which as she finds out at the end of the short film is not as amazing as she had dreamt. It is set in 1955 and she travelled to 2022.

I did this project on my own, I didn't know we needed to do a longer scene, which is why its not very good. Given more time I would have added more characters, costumes and effects. I would have done it for FMP if I had anyone to act for me. Emily was the one who organised those things and she changed her 2nd FMP to photography.

My entire Edit of Snap
We did this project as a class. One of the teachers devised the scrip and as a class we were given individual duties by our Tutor. I was set designer and script supervisor. Because our class was mostly boys, when it came to a lot of the girls jobs, the rolls given by the girls were being overshadowed by the boys. They would start to do some of our jobs, eventually doing someone of them for us, when eventually, when it came to the trailer that I was meant to do, our teacher made one of the boys do it because it wasn't being made. But it was only not being made because the final edit of the short film wasn't complete, which was supposed to be done by one of the boys, but that wasn't finished either because we didn't have all the footage. Basically our female tutor gave us the jobs and our male teacher changed the jobs given to the only 4 girls in the class to the boys.

This was a documentary about my Grandad who's dad was the 3rd last British soldier to die in WW2. He died a few days after the concentration camps were liberated. My grandad was 4 years old when he died and he never got to meet him. However on the 60th anniversary of when he died my grandad found out where he was buried and decided to go there as he knew the anniversary was coming up. When he found his grave he played the last post in the rain. He told me this story in 2018 and I thought it would be a great story to film as a documentary.

This is the final product of my second FMP. I wanted to do a short film, but I didn't have any actors. I had many contingency ideas, however all of those ideas didn't pan out because of numerous different reasons. In the end I had to make an entirely new contingency plan. Therefore, I came to the conclusion of Promos. After the short film idea, I wrote 'Documentary' as a contingency, it would have been on my Cousin, who is an actor. However, he didn't want to do it. Then I wrote 'Documentary on Grandad', which would have been the second part of the first documentary I did on Grandad finding his dad. It would have been about him pursuing his dream of going to the same places that his dad went during the war. But there was a very high possibility that he wasn't going to go because he didn't feel very well. Then I thought about a music video and then I thought about doing a documentary with one of the first years. But then Emily came to my rescue and said I could do a promo with her as she was doing photography for someone who sells vintage clothing. Basically I ended up following Emily around while she did photography and filmed her and the models.
